Groupon Beware!

Today I decided was an ideal day to go cash in my Groupon worth $50 at the Gap.  Does it matter that I paid $15 for it?  I think not.  I was expecting to get $50 worth of merchandise any which way I looked at it.  I look & look again to find something to buy at the Gap, not much.  I tried on 4 of their new classic pant styles, of course all in black. I did expect to go home with a brand new pair of classic black trousers.  Nothing fit or looked good, looked ok, but not great.  Who wants to spend $60 buck on pants that look like they should be $30 in the first place?  I managed to shyly approach the counter with my single on sale item, a red patent leather tote.  Yes, it would stop traffic at night, but a statement at $13 & change.  I bought it & was told my Groupon was now nonexistent.  I spent $13 on a $50 credit, does that sound right, well it didn't to me.  I said you have to be kidding, the whole reason I bought the Groupon was because it was worth 3x's what I paid for it.  So they were kind enough to let me venture back onto the floor to find $50 worth of merch as not to be duped by my Groupon...  Beware of Groupons to the Gap that need to be spent all in one excursion.  If you want to use your $50 Groupon buy $50 worth of apparel.  Groupon
